Arjuna is a deciduous tree (about 60-70 feet high), abundantly found in India, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. Terminalia arjuna, which means "bright and shining one" is the most celebrated “herb for the heart” in Ayurveda. The bark of the tree has been used in India for more than 3000 years, primarily as a heart health supplement. Arjuna is also known to help balance the three “doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
